Countess Clarissa Bonde on ASBA Board of Directors

Countess Clarissa Bonde, a long-time member of the American Society of Botanical Artists, was elected to the ASBA Board of Directors in 2015. Also a founding member of the Botanical Artists for Education & the Environment (BAEE), Clarissa will begin her term as BAEE President in March 2016. She is shown in the photo beside her painting (above right) of the Magnolia grandiflora (Southern Magnolia) that appears in the BAEE book, “American Botanical Paintings: Native Plants of the Mid Atlantic.” The photo was taken at the 2014 reception for the opening of the exhibition at the U.S. Botanic Garden.
