BAEE Donates Funds to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

On Sunday, May 22, a group of BAEE Board Members and participating artists met at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens to make the first donation of profits from the sale of our book, American Botanical Paintings: Native Plants of the Mid Atlantic.

Bonnie Driggers, Past President of BAEE and current Board Member, also donated a watercolor painting of Dirca palustris (leatherwood), one of the very early-blooming Virginia native shrubs.
