Another Successful Class by Anne-Marie Evans

From April 1 through April 15, Anne-Marie Evans MBE taught another botanical art class here in Falls Church. This time the subject was Mertensia virginica (Virginia bluebells), not an easy subject especially with the weather being so uncooperative. Nevertheless, we completed our drawings and got a good start toward painting. The focus in this class was on aerial perspective. Keith Tomlinson, Park Manager at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens, provided most of the bluebells. Keith has been a rock of support since BAEE was established in 2011.

It is possible that Anne-Marie can return to Falls Church the week after Thanksgiving. Contact us if you are interested. We should know for sure by early June.
