Anne-Marie Evans is appointed MBE

Anne-Marie Evans is included in the 2016 New Year Honour list published in The Gazette, “The Official Public Register”, on 30 December 2015. She was appointed a Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II. Mrs. Anne-Marie Evans is honored as an Ordinary Member of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order: "For services to Botanical Art and Education."

The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire is a British order of chivalry, rewarding contributions to the arts and sciences, work with charitable and welfare organisations, and public service outside the Civil Service. The MBE is one of five classes in the Order. Each class contains a Military and a Civil division.
